Hello and welcome to all our families at St Stephen’s!

We would like to tell you more about the vision and activities of our PTA (Parent Teacher Association).

Why we have a PTA

We are an enthusiastic and approachable group of parents who meet on a regular basis to organise activities for our pupils and their families, to raise money for equipment and resources that will enhance our children’s educational experience and the school’s facilities. 

Aims

We exist to provide closer links between home and school, through social events where children, parents and staff can come together making a community. We align ourselves with the ethos and vision of the school and try very hard to respect this while planning our events. In 2023/24 we will be raising funds to support an outdoor learning programme for the children. We will also be looking to invest further in books for each class and the school library.  The literature held here will complement the school’s  ‘Oxfam Global Sustainable Goals’ curriculum.

We cannot run our popular fayres and other events without assistance from our parent community. PTA Officers are always interested to hear your thoughts and accept any offers of help.
