On Friday, we celebrated World Book day with a wild animal theme! We came to school, dressed as a whole menagerie of animals or dressed in animal themed colours, to complete a variety of reading themed tasks. We were then lucky enough to have the author and wildfile documentary maker-Sam Hume to come and give us a talk. He told us about his very interesting career and the book that he has written all about dangerous animals, with some children getting a signed book after the talk. It was great to have a whole day dedicated to the love of reading and lots of fun was had!
