School Lunches

School meals are cooked fresh everyday in our own school kitchen. Menus are sent home for your use and spares are available from the school office. Alternatively, click on the link below for the current menu.

Each day, children can choose from a Meat, Vegetarian or Jacket Potato main meal. Along with those three choices of hot main meals, we offer a Cheese or Ham sandwich and a Tuna Mayo Wrap which all come with Vegetable Crudities. We also offer a selection of daily sides. These include a daily salad bar and Pudding.

How do I order and pay for a school meal for my child?

To order a school meal for your child, you will need to use Arbor Parent Portal app or the online system "Arbor". The Menu will show for each day on there. If your child is bringing a ‘packed lunch’, please also book this on Arbor by selecting this option for the day(s) that your child is having packed lunch.  This helps the school office identify any children who do not have a lunch provision quickly to make sure that they have the meal of their choice on that day.  Meals cost £2.75 each.

Water

Children may bring a named water bottle of plain water each day. These are kept in a central place in the classroom where children have access to them all day.

Nut Free School

We have children with nut allergies. Please do not include nuts (or nut based products) in your child’s packed lunch, or snacks. Thank you.

Free School Meals – How to apply

Your eligibility will be checked online, and the portal will let you know whether your child is eligible for free school meals. If your child is eligible you will receive a confirmation message, and the school will be notified directly. If you are not eligible you will be presented with a message stating this.

Please note, if you have already completed a primary or secondary school place application for the via the portal, you do not need to re-register when applying for free school meals. Please use the login details that you have already set up.

Children may bring a packed lunch. The lunch must be brought in a suitable lunch box, with a close fitting lid. The box or container should be indelibly marked with the child's full name to avoid confusion. For the reasons of safety, no hot or fizzy drinks or glass containers of any kind can be brought to school. Please provide a cup, beaker or straw for the drinks, as we are unable to provide them in school.
