Term 1

This term, in our enquiry we will be learning about what happens when we get older. We will be delving into the life cycle of different plants and animals, looking at reproduction and gestation periods. In writing, we will be looking at the book 'The Tunnel by Anthony Browne' and writing a setting description and a formal discussion based on this picture book. In reading, we are exploring the book 'Floodland by Marcus Sedwick'

In jigsaw (PSHE), we were learning what it takes to work well in a team. We created a towers with only glue and paper and the aim was to create the tallest free-standing tower. We did this once without allocated roles and a second time with allocated roles and decided which time was the best. We them came up with a list of 6 things that were important when working as a team!
