Our girls were in action in the finals of the netball league.

Mr B took a new look side including lots of Year 5 girls who had not played competitively before and they were outstanding!!

They showed controlled aggression, determination, skill and a real desire to win! They finished third overall and Mr B is already getting excited about the team for next year!

CSET League Winners!

Our sporting success continued last with our netball team becoming CSET Partnership Netball League Winners on Wednesday 18th April.

This is the first time we have won this league and we did it in style! Over three nights of competition we played 15 games and only conceded 2 goals. We won every game and showed amazing teamwork and determination throughout.

Well done to everyone who has represented the team, well done Mr Britton and good luck on Thursday at the South West Championships

Level 2 - South Glos Championships

On the 9th March, the Year 6 netball squad went to the County Netball Finals at Sir Bernard Lovell School. It was a Round Robin tournament against the best schools in South Gloucestershire.

We didn't start too well, which we put down to nerves, but still managed to win 2-0 against Beacon Rise. The next game was very tough against Blackhorse (the eventual runners up). The nerves were gone now and we played very well winning 3-0. We then won our next two games against Barrs Court and the Tynings. Our last game was against a strong Mangotsfield which we won 2-0.

The girls were a credit to the school and behaved fantastically. Their netball skills were outstanding! As a result of winning all of their matches, they will now go to the regional finals on April 19th. Well done!
